Meeting with the AEQT to Explore Potential Collaboration
Marc Miquel, CEO of Oxaquim, held an initial meeting with the Tarragona Chemical Companies Association (AEQT), represented by its managing director, Maria Mas, to explore potential collaborations.
On the table were the challenges and opportunities facing the chemical sector in an environment marked by geopolitical challenges and the competitiveness of European industry in this new landscape.
Oxaquim is the leading European producer of oxalic acid and the second largest worldwide. It exports 90 percent of its production to 85 countries globally, supplies more than 16 production sectors, has a turnover of €25 million, and employs 50 people.
The AEQT was founded in 1977 to represent the entire chemical sector in Tarragona, the most important in Southern Europe. It is made up of 34 leading companies in the international chemical sector, located in the North and South industrial parks of Tarragona.
