Integrated Environmental Authorization granted for the expansion of Alcañiz
Oxaquim has obtained the Integrated Environmental Authorization, from the Government of Aragon, an essential requirement to carry out the Alcañiz plant expansion project.
Marc Miquel, CEO and Daniel Miquel, CEO of Oxaquim, explain that once this administrative procedure has been completed, all that remains is to obtain the approval of the regional incentives so that the investment can be executed.
Oxaquim, the first European producer of oxalic acid, and the second in the world, plans to increase the production of the Alcañiz plant in Teruel by 50 percent, up to 25,000 tons, which will mean expanding the number of employees employed by 15 more people and continue consolidating its international presence.
The chemical company exports 90 percent of its production to 85 countries around the world, supplies more than 16 productive sectors and has a turnover of 25 million euros.
